What to Expect

One thing that you will notice when choosing Angie Cox Photography is you are choosing an artistic and creative experience.  No stuffy studio here. It is your life captured.  I offer several ways for you to keep your treasures for a life time.  You may select your edited images on a high-resolution CD or one of my print packages.

Depending on the package you choose, I advanced edit the selection of the best of the bunch photos. This could be 10 or 20-25 or 80 depending on your package selection. I use several different colors, textures and techniques to create images you can’t get straight from the camera.

When choosing my service you are hiring more than a photographer – you are hiring a graphic artist. This isn’t Sears. So your photos will not be the standard traditional style you would get from a chain studio. I hand edit each image with original colors, textures and flare. I ask that you do look through my portfolio prior to booking. My style may or may not be for you and that is OK? It’s important to hire a photographer that fits your needs.

I believe in getting the most for your money and encourage using your photo session to the full advantage. We can do wardrobe changes, props, or costumes if you like. I like to make the process as personal as possible.  I don’t rush you in, tell you to smile, then send you on your way. You will have several options when looking for a great photo to enlarge and adorn the walls in your home. {see FAQ for more questions on your session}

I don’t want you to feel the pressure of picking out print packages that may or may not accommodate your family’s budget. This is why I offer high-resolution digital negatives (CD). Having the images on CD is a valuable thing. It gives you the freedom to choose where, when and what you print out. I also do offer packages where I will print for you from a top of the line professional print studio. These are top-notch quality and what I use for my own family portraits. They are color calibrated to my computer color settings and will look just as they do on the CD. If you take the CD to a chain labs or store their printers are calibrated for the masses. Therefore your prints will not have the same color and luster as they do on the computer. They are on cheaper paper and use cheaper ink. My lab does not. I can not guarantee the quality and color when you print on your own from a chain. However when you print with me – I inspect each print prior to shipping {ask to see a print example of each}

**The copyright is retained by Angie Cox Photography. I do give a release to print with each CD.  I do also ask you to sign a model release form so that I can use the images for my advertising**Model release is not required but is appreciated.

It normally takes about 1 to 2 weeks to complete the CD. After completion, the CD is mailed to your home. If you choose for me to print I will set a viewing online for you to choose your print and size. These will then get mailed to your home with the CD. This process is about 3 to 4 weeks.

I am a 100% natural light photographer, so lighting conditions will affect the outcome and success of your session. I shoot on location or at my home within the Enumclaw area. Outside 25 miles does have a $25 fee. *please inquire for more info*
