As 2011 comes to an end, I wanted to look back and reflect on my year of work. WOW, I was first shocked how much there was to go through. It was fun for me to do because I was able to see all the things I did wrong, improved on, and fell in love with. I really feel like this year I grew in my craft more than I ever could have imagined. I’ve spent many hours rolling on the wet ground, having my fingers frozen in 20 degree weather, bruising my tail bone diving after a two-year olds, and soothing the most wide awake crying newborns back to sleep. For some that sounds horrible - but I can tell you NO it was totally worth it. Because when you can capture a child or family in a way that brings tears to the eyes of the parents – it’s all worth it. 100%. I’m looking forward to another year of growth and experiences. To anyone out there I can tell you this. Don’t be afraid to live your dream. Anything can be achieved with hard work, dedication and passion. Make your own LUCK! Here are a few of my reflections of the lens.
