Holiday Minis 2018

Warning long post. But how could I not share so many wonderful images from this years holiday mini sessions. Some of my faves of the year. I had such a great year. I really do have some of the best clients on the planet. Cheers to another great year.

CJ & Missy
{Tacoma Wedding Photographer, The Historic 1625 Tacoma Place}

CJ and Missy are not the average “formal style” bride and groom. The main theme of their day was going to be all about fun! A Christmas themed wedding set in the Tacoma landmark, Historic 1625, had the halls decked with holiday cheer. Elements of Star Wars and Harry Potter, the bride and grooms fave movies, were also sprinkled through the decor. Equipped with a photo booth that had the BIG GUY, Santa himself, this was certainly a unique and spirited wedding that no one will soon forget. The evening topped off with an epic cake smash that had the crowd rolling with laughter!

Shaun and Janee
{Sumner Orting Wedding Photographer}

Nothing beats a good backyard family wedding, especially when the back yard over looks the amazing Orting Valley. However the day didn’t go exactly as planned. Janee and Shaun planned for their wedding to be on a hot August Saturday, however mother nature had other plans. It actually poured rain like I have never seen in the month of August. With a little luck and a lot of last minute moving around, the date was changed to Sunday afternoon and all the guest and vendors, including myself were able to accommodate. The wedding proceeded and was an amazing fun day of friends, food, music and dancing. The bride and groom ended the evening in their Seattle Seahawks attire.

Katy and Weston
{Enumclaw Wedding Photographer, Mountain View Manor}

What a perfect day for the wedding of sweet Katie and dashing Weston held with their family and friends at Enumclaw’s own Mountain View Manor. There was so many emotional tears throughout the busy day. It was hard to hold back at times.
The sun was shinning bright and every detail and flower was perfectly provided by local vendors; The Meaningful Details and JnJ Floral. Katie put so much thought into every aspect of the decor and it showed. Lavender roses, succulents and the photo of her Mother sitting beside her at the head table in a golden frame. It was a stunning wedding. Congrats to the amazing couple.
